Pawel Walentynowicz M.A. Poland Consultant

Pawel Walentynowicz, M.A., is a highly experienced cross-cultural trainer and consultant. Originally from Poland, and now living in Belgium, Pawel delivers programs on leadership, communication and cross-cultural management with specialization in Central and Eastern Europe.

Pawel has delivered Charis “Working with Poland and Romania” via webinar, and brings an engaging style, clear presentation, extensive first-hand experience as well as cultural objectivity to his training. Participants find his pan-European perspective highly valuable when they have multicultural teams or regional responsibilities in Europe. Pawel has extensive international experience working and living in many European countries, and is fluent in five languages. A part of his work has been executive coaching for Western managers being relocated to formerly communist countries, and understanding the motivation and management strategies for the generational differences that occur in these economies. He develops training programs in cultural awareness, multicultural team building and resolving conflict in multicultural teams for such clients as Siemens, Arcelor Mittal, 3M, Tesco, Parametric Technology and Philips.

Pawel holds a M.A. in Organisational Sociology from the University of Tilburg, the Netherlands, and has additional coursework at Warsaw School of Economics. He is fluent in English, Polish, Dutch, German, and Russian, and has conversational skills in Czech and French. He is the author of Cultural Detective Poland.
