Osmar was born in the picturesque Andes mountains of Venezuela in 1947. At a very early age he fell in love with the art of oil painting. He studied in the "Instituto de Bellas Artes" and has participated in numerous regional art expositions, and won several first prizes. He has brought his breathtaking scenes of Venezuela to the audiences in the USA.
